Top tips to be used with an iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 has been launched successfully. The iPhone 3GS and the 3G versions were said to be not upgradeable to the iOS 6 version. For those who wanted to upgrade their iPhone 4, they had to go for a free download of upgraded software from iTunes through their iTunes account. For all those who bought the new iPhone 4, they had to buy the iPhone 4 cases and other accessories too as the new set had a number of new features and peripheral devices to use with it.

When the iPhone 5 came to the market, all the iPhone users of the previous versions wanted to shift to the iOS 6 version device, however, seeing the price of the device, it was not possible for all those to buy an iPhone 5 in pin packed condition. Apple does not allow its users to worry. That is why, the company called in all the iPhone 3G, and the 3GS sets, and in exchange for free the company offered the iPhone 4 with 8GB memory details.

The devices used by users are always subjected to good tips and tricks to utilize their full potential. That is why, many blogs upload tips to be sued with any consumer electronic device, but they all hardly work. However, you can find the following tips to be very useful with the iPhone 5:
  1. While you have to check all your notifications from Facebook and other social media sites, plus all your new messages and call notification on the phone, you do not have to unlock the screen and see them. Sometimes you are not in the position to unlock the phone while driving or while being busy in the kitchen and you need to urgently check the phone. Unless your phone is protected by a lock code, you can just swipe the screen form right to left to go directly to notifications. This way you do not have to check for the lock and unlock the phone.

  2. While you are searching online or are browsing the net and have scrolled down to a very long page, you can easily scroll up to the top bar by just tapping at the top of the screen twice. You do not have to swipe the screen vertically to keep scrolling upward and save time by just tapping.
  3. You can use so many key board shortcuts. For example, press down the .com button to reveal the other domains as well like org, .in, .eu etc. This way, you do not have to type the whole domain and waste time. Just like that, you can type in special characters by holding down a specific letter key and inserting the symbol.

  4. While you use multiple apps in the same time, you can switch between them without having to close the apps. Just tap the home button twice to see the list of opened apps at the bottom. If you would like to close an app you can do the same home button clicking and close the apps by tapping and holding on an icon.
